In a simple world, no gesture, or visual would hold any weight. We’d program ourselves robotic and choose our words carelessly, let alone our daily uniforms.
But, this is not a simple world.
Our complex world renders our day-to-day wear the rawest way we choose to express ourselves– our comforts, our intentions, or desires; it speaks before we do.
Few things are as of such prodigious importance. Your jeans are practically introducing you to me.
But, this is my dream-like take on the daily uniform.
The things I’ve worn, or would wear–this is not my reality. Whether real or imagined, my choices in vêtements send you signals you cannot ignore.
For these reasons, I beg the question, is a daily uniform that simple after all?
